At CKE Newfoundlands we raise AKC registered quality puppies. We strive to breed to the AKC standard for conformation and temperament. Our breeding dogs are from show bloodlines to assure our puppies look like Newfoundlands- not like Labs. When we say we have Champion Pedigrees- we mean it. We have the bloodlines that are in the show ring today. We have SOLD puppies to 12 states so far and are willing to ship for an additional charge.

Because this is a family breed, temperament is VERY important to us. We want to make sure your dog is the best with your family and pets. Our puppies are born in our home (in our bedrooms) and are raised with my children and many other pets so they will come to you as very well socialized, well adjusted puppies.

We also only breed Cystinuria Non-Affected dogs so our puppies will not have Cystinuria. Affected means the puppy has Cystinuria and will most likely have to be put down. The inheritance for Cystinuria is as follows: Carrier to Carrier= Affected puppies. Carrier to non-Carrier= 50% Carriers and 0% Affected. Non-Carrier to non-Carrier= 100% non-Carriers. Being a carrier does NOT affect the dog in ANY way. It only means that they are recessive for it (like being resecessive for blue eyes).
